Converting from trial to full version

N

Novice

I already have a CDrom with 2007 Office (and key code). I bought a mini
computer with trial version. When I put in my full version key code to
convert, it won't accept it. There is no cd rom drive in a mini computer.
Any suggestions? I can't find a phone number or any way to contact Microsoft
for help. I just bought the new 2007 a few months ago and don't want to buy
another just to use a web download. Help, please.

First, remove the trial version and reboot.

Then, you may want to look into purchasing a USB optical drive to install
Office 2007, and any other software you may need that uses a CD or DVD.
They are quite reasonable right now and should come down in price with the
holidays coming. You can find a CD/DVD USB drive at Outpost.com (Fry's
on-line presence) for around $80 for a dual layer DVD/RW USB drive (They
also read CDs)
