Converting Hours and Minutes

Can you please advise how to convert hours and minutes to
minutes also how to format the cells to accomodate the
information.

Custom format [mm], or if you need an integer

=A1*1440 format as general

Hi

1 is a day, 24 hrs, in Excel (and Access, SQLserver and most MS things). So multiply time
with hours per day (24) or minutes per day (1440) to get the integer or decimal number.
Format result cell as decimal or General.
