Converting MDB to MDE

I get an error message when trying to convert an Access 2003 database to MDE
which says that the database is probably too big. It's actually not a big
database and the tables are linked from another database. Any ideas would be
most appreciated.

Actually, Online Help says the error is usually due to too many Table ID's,
which is a lie. That cause is near the bottom of the list of things that
may be wrong. Check the "Can't make an MDE!" checklist on the following Web
page to help you determine why you can't create the MDE database:
