Ashamedly, as a Canadian, I prefer 'inches' when setting margins in documents. I have noted OFFICE 2008 uses metric [centimeters].

I have checked Preferences in Word, Excel and PowerPoint but could not see an icon to perform this change.

Is there any hope?

Thanks.

Word | Preferences | General---last item on list is "measurement units".
Not sure about Excel, PPT.

Each icon is hiding many settings--when in doubt, check General and
browse them all.

In Excel it's General Prefs, but in PPt it's in View Prefs - go figure :)
