Converting .pdf to .tif using Visual Basic to access Adobe Acrobat

I would like to use Visual Basic to programatically
access Adobe Acrobat and convert (save as?) .pdf files
into .tif files. If anybody has done this or similar I'd
like to see the syntax, I'm having trouble figuring out
how to do this just from reference manuals.
