converting Word Perfect files

I need to open files created in Word Perfect for PC. How can I do that in Word for Mac?

Best way is probably a program called MacLinkPlus.

Or...

If they were sent to you via email ask the sender to save them as RTF.

Or...

If you created them yourself, save them as RTF on a PC.

Addendum to MC:

If you just need to open the occasional file, a free program AbiWord
will do it, I think.

MacLinkPlus is better if you need to batch-change lots and lots of files
at once.
