Hello. I manage a website for a small organization. It was developed using
MS FrontPage. We don't use cookies on our site now, but I have been thinking
about it to see what information can be gathered from people that visit our
site. Can anybody steer me in the direction of instructions on setting this
up?
Thank you.

You might want to know what information can be gathered first!

Client IP Address
Browser type
Time of Request
Anything the user voluntarily provides

Cookies can be managed with JavaScript. However, if you want the users to
provide any information, you will need a form or forms and some form of
server-side application to process the form(s).

I don't have to set up anything. My ISP collects data in detail from
every hit to my sites. Just to give you part of what I get, operating
system, size of screen, page entered site on, every page visited after
that, link used to get to the site, time arrived at site, time on each
page, time left site, and much more. In other words, more detailed
information than I'll ever use. The main interest to me is, where the
visitors are coming from and the resolution of their screen. The
screen size, BTW, is almost 50% 800 X 600 and operating system 96%
windows (combined versions).
