Copied "Mail/Post" items to a "Calendar" folder

ProfDD

I blundered, fortunately with not too many items. In cleaning out my
inbox in accordance with GTD principles, I created a subfolder to my
personal folder for one group of "hot" reading material received by
e-mail. The form inherited the calendar property somehow and I failed
to catch and change it. Now I can't see any trace of the items in the
calendar views that are applicable. I can't change the
"Calendar/Appointment" property of the folder. Is the data recoverable
from that folder ? How ?

I run Outlook 2002, with at least SP 1, on win XP with SP 1; single
user, no Exchange.

Make a new email folder.

Go to the "hot" reading folder and use the View Window to see what's there
(use By Category View - and take the Category Header out of the Group By Box
so you see a full list of the emails that are in the folder). Select one of
these emails and drag it to your new email folder. It should revert to
being an email now. If that worked, drag the rest of them in.
