Copy and Past between PowerPoint and Word

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I have a problem with copy and paste between office apps.

I'm using office 2009 12.2.1

The problem is the following:
- I create diagrams in powerpoints
- I compy a diagram
- when I paste them into word the inserted components are always converted in pictures and not in microsoft office objects that I can edit
- with past-special I have same behaveyour

Any idea ?? I removed all office and preferences buy I did not solve the problem.
