Copy and Paste Formulas

I have a spreadsheet that suddenly started to fail when
adding or subtracting columns (ie: =L4-K4)and copying and
pasting in cells below. It shows the correct formulas in
the cells below but gives the same result as the cell
being copied from. If I put the correct formula in (ie:
=L5-K5) it works correctly.

Any ideas what's happening? It does it in other files as
well.

Hi

It might be worth checking if Calculation is set to manual. If you hit F9,
do the values become correct?
Go to Tools / Options / Calculation and select Automatic

Andy,
Thanks a bunch. That solved my problem. Must have
changed it and didn't realize what I was doing.

Well, the status of the calculation mode is determined by the first book you
open during the Excel session. So the first book you opened during this
session must have had calc set to manual.
