When I copy a table from Excel to Word the row height /sometimes/
(most often) expands for all the rows and changing values in 'table properties'
makes no difference.
I caught this happening on a small table and it appears that the row height
of all the rows is being set to match the row height of the cell with the most
word wrap.
Any advice would be gratefully received. Note that copying as unformatted
text is not very helpful, nor is converting to text and back, because there is
formatting in the original Excel table that I need to preserve.
