copy and paste in the same format

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)

I copy a spreed sheet on internet then paste onto excel and its all garbeled, in the wrong format? how do i make what i copy exactly the same when i paste?

Unfortunately when you copy from a web page you don't always get what you're
seeing. There are a number of variables involved including which Browser
you're using. Try right-clicking to copy & see if there are options to select
from. Additionally you might investigate using a different Browser.

When yo go to Paste use Edit> Paste Special rather than just dumping the
stuff in. It still may not be perfect but it should be better.
