copy and paste

when i try to copy a highlighted section in word or in the browser and then
paste t to an outlook 2007 email note i get an error. When i drag the
highlighted section there is no problem. I tried to get help by phone but was
rejecteddue to purchase terms. i tried to get help from the local discussion
group and now i'm hopefully approching this group. The OS is vista ultimate
32bit, office 2007 pro.
