copy cell contents but not formula

Cell B1 has a number which is created by a formula. I
would like to copy the value in cell B1 to C1 but I do not
want to copy the formula. Is this possible? Thanks for
your assistance.

Copy it as usual, but when you are ready to paste it, go to edit>paste
special and check 'values'.

Hi,

Select your cell (B1) > edit > copy
select your destination cell (C1)
Edit > Paste Special > Values
