Copy file to clipboard from Hyperlink

I have a text box on my form with hyperlinks to files displaying with the
full path
e.g. c:\files\file1.doc
When I click the link it opens. No problem.

I would like to be able to somehow copy the file on disk to the clickboard
so that I could say attach to an email.

If I right click copy it only copies the filename to the clipboard.

Is there any way to do this?
