copy from inbox to cd?

I want to store saved emails from clints onto a cd. I'm using windows XP.

Sorry I meant to say client emails. My question is what are the procedures
for transferring from my inbox and saving on to a CD so i can save space?

You can copy the *.pst file to cd but you cannot read it from cd

Thanks DL, my purpose was that I would b able to read the stored client
emails from the CD file . Does your response mean i can't do that?

File - Save As

Burn those files to your CD.

To read them, you must copy them back to the hard drive and remove the
read-only designation placed there by copying to a Read-only CD. Outlook
requires complete read/write access to a .pst file.
