Copy ganttbar format from one activity to another

Hi everybody,

New to VBA for project, and with a small experience with VBA for Excell
& Access, I've been looking for a way to copy a bar format from one
activity to another.

With Ganttbarformat I can modify any barstyle but I have never found a
way to obtain the Ganttbarformat arguments of an existing bar.

And yes I am using Project 2003

Can any body help?

Hi,

The good news is that you can stop looking: GanttBarFormat is "write only".
But DO consider using Bar Styles.
The best thee si in formatting bars!

Yes that's what I feared since i've been looking alll over the net and
never seen any mention on it. I have several users using a lot the
reported bars on the summary bars (sorry i it's not clear, I am not sure
of the exact term in the english version) but the reported bar are a
pain to manage you need to format each of them individually... unless
you use the styles, but it's also a pain to setup.
What I wanted to do is just a macro that copy the format of each
regular bar and format the reported bar the same...
