Copy Past errors in word 2000

Hi!,

While doing the copy past function I have - some times but
not always - experienced the following problem

If i copy say ten lines from one page to another page in
the same file or in another file the font size would
automatically change in the pasted doc. for some of the
lines. Secondly the spacing in the lines would also change
from single to 1.5 or more in the pasted doc. Thirdly
though the spacing would appear in the pasted doc as being
double but the cursor would jump and go to next line as if
the spacing is single.............

can any one please provide me some tips or a solution to
this problem
