copy/paste from Web sites to Word 2003 crashes

Hi all! I have been getting an error about 50% of the time when I try
to copy text/images mixed or not, from a webpage to Word. It will
print out the first sentence of the data, then I get the MS "do you
want to send this error to Microsoft", and then after I click "yes" or
"no", it then will paste the rest of the data.
If I had an already saved document open, it will create a recovered
version.

This started a good 6 months ago, so I am not sure if it was from a
update patch, etc. Just curious if anyone else has this trouble. It is
livable, but annoying.

Does this occur no matter which web page you are pasting from, or does it happen
only with a particular web page?

Have you tried pasting as "Unformatted Text" (via Paste Special)?

Stefan, it happens with many different webpages, but not all. I think
it even happened once or twice when copying from one Word to doc to
another. I have looked for some commonality between them all, but
nothing substantial enough to make a case.

I have not tried the "Unformatted Text" option, but I will the next
time it happens.

Does the problem occur even if you copy and paste small amounts of text (say a single word or sentence)?

Are you running any add-ins with Word?
