When I put a metafile (doesn't matter whether it's a Windows Metafile or an
Enhanced Metafile) on the clipboard and paste into Word this goes fine - so
long as I don't scale the image (either by enlarging it directly or by
'zooming' on the entire document). Under my Word 2002 on Windows XP, the
enlarged metafile becomes fragmented and unrecognisable. A colleague of mine
has Word 2000, and a metafile in the Word 2000 document scales perfectly. He
sent me a sample document which I then opened in Word 2002 and now it scaled
there perfectly too!
Can someone please tell me what's going on here and whether there's anything
I can do about it?
