Copy/Paste over itself not aligned

Images from master pages need to be compy/pasted onto regular slide pages.
Also, elements from one slide page need to be copy/pasted into other slides.
The pasted image always pastes offset from original. I want it to paste at
same coordinates as it was copied from.

Suggestions (other than manually typing in coordinates from Size and
Position)?

In most cases all you need to do is press the up arrow twice then the left
arrow twice to put the pasted copy back in the same position as the original.

If you have a lot of shapes to line up to a common position, the "Hammer"
tool, part of our PPTools Starter Set, will do the job more easily/flexibly.
