Copy / Paste Special / Values for a whole spreadsheet ?

I have a large workbook with a number of sheets that extract data from other
programs.
I need to distribute it by email to people who don't have access to those
programs, for whom the links won't work.
Is there a way of converting formulae to values for a whole book or sheet in
the same way as for a selected range ?
Thanks

Hi

I haven't tried it but I suppose you could group the sheets (right-click on
a sheet tab and select 'Group all') and then click on the select all button
(above row 1 and to the left of column A) and then Copy/Paste
Special/Values.

Make a copy before you try, though!

I assume you use lots for formula for links and for extracting data from
other programs.

Try :
Go to menu edit/link/break links....
Which will convert all external links (formula) to their current values for
the whole file.

Thanks for the feedback and I'm glad you're sorted! I didn't suggest the
Links option because my version (XL2000) doesn't have it so I don't know it
exists!!

Cheers.
Andy.
