Copy protection of files

Hi,
Is there any way I can prevent my pictures being downloaded from my site?
I have found the "disable right click" line to add to my pages, but was
wondering if there was another way of protecting my content without having to
spend a fortune.

Hi Darryll,

Sorry but there is no way to do it (including the no-right click script...
please don't think that will stop anyone that wants your picture)

If the images are sensitive then you can watermark them..and possibly trace
to where they have been taken to for online sites...that's about it.

Well you could also put up lower quality images marked with a
copyright...but that still won't prevent anyone from taking it.

Thanks for the info...I really just needed this confirmed...I've seen some
sofware that cuts the image into pieces and stores it in different files etc.
But I was still a little uncertain if it was possible to protect my images.

Agreed. Someone else asked this question *today* (again!!) and I replied by
