COPY SAME DATE/CELL TO EVERY SHEET?

HOW DO i COPY 1 CELL THAT CONTAINS THE DATE TO EVERY SHEET WITH LEAST AMOUNT
OF KEYSTROKES?

One way, select the sheet with the date, right click on the worksheet tab
and group sheets, select the cell with the date, F2, enter, ungroup the
sheets

select the cell you want to copy

Edit Copy (or ctrl+C) select all sheets where you want the information and
paste.

remove caps from e-mail

This doesn't work...when i rt click on tab, it doesn't bring up anything
about a group

Steve, select the first sheet, hold down the shift key and click on the last
sheet. This will select all sheets in between. Enter the date in any cell
and it will be entered in all 40 sheets. HTH

Right-click and "select all sheets" to group them.
