Hello from Steved

200618,200618,200618,200618,200618,200618,200618
and the formula to increase to 200619 and repeat please.

Thankyou.

Assuming the first value is a constant in A1, you could put this formula in A2
and copy down:

=IF(MOD(ROW(),7)=1,A1+1,A1)

If it starts in a different row, you need to modify the "=1" part: replace 1
with the row number of the cell containing the 1st value.

Hello Myrna from Steved

Sorry I meant 200618 the eight time change to 200619,
then copy 200619 7 times, change on the eighth time change
to 200620 copy 7 times change on the eighth to 200621 and
so on please.

Thankyou.

The formula I gave you produces 7 copies of each number; the 8th number is
increased by 1. Isn't that what you want? Did you try the formula?

Hello Myrna

Yes your formula is exactly what I require.

If only I did what you asked in the first place I would
have been fine.

Sorry about that

And thanks again.
