copying a cell

I am trying to create a graphic report card where each
subject has 3 grading criteria and each grade is inserted
into a text box. I'm starting with a table with 2 columns
and 6 rows on one page. Each cell of this table will
represent one class and will be divided into several
columns and rows. Once I format one of these cells I
wanted to copy it into all the other cells but it won't
copy I am using Word 97 Is there a way to do this??
Thanks SandyG

G'day "SandyG" <[email protected]>,

you'll have to split your destination cells before pasting in. Word
2k+ wil paste the result as an EMBEDDED or NESTED table.
