Copying and pasting from Word

Processor: Intel

When I try to copy text from Word into InDesign it pastes as a picture. It won't paste at all into Dreamweaver. Word 2004 had no problem with this.

This is a known Adobe bug. I don't know the curent status but I thought it
had been resolved, although it may depend on which versions you have. Make
sure you have all of their updates for your version of the programs. If that
doesn't resolve it you should be able to find more information on the Adobe
Support site.

In the meantime, use the prefered Place method rather than copy/paste [at
least for InD... not so sure about DW as I don't use it]. If you need only
the portion of the document content copy it to a new file & place that
instead of the entire original.
