Copying and Pasting Jpegs from internet

I cannot copy and paste jpeg files from AOL into word documents. They paste
in as unreadable or viewable items. I have no problems copy and pasting
Tiffs, etc. Also, I can copy jpeg files from my computer into word documents
with no problems. When I am in AOL or Internet Explorer, I cannot copy and
paste jpegs.

Could you have some kind of anti-virus software that's interfering? there's a
known security issue with the jpeg file format. It can contain malicious code
that will execute just be viewing the graphic. Perhaps you have software on your
system that's trying to protect you by not letting you paste jpeg?
