Whenever i want to copy a picture from a website and
paste to microsoft word the picture will not appear.
Instead a box will appear empty with no picture how do
make the image appear correctly ?

Any ideas ?

When you paste a picture from the Web, you're just pasting a link to that
picture's location on the Web. To embed the picture in your document, select
it and press Ctrl+Shift+F9. Alternatively, you can use Edit | Paste Special
and choose an appropriate option.

Or (and this is the best solution) you can right-click the image on the Web
page and choose Save Picture As. Save the picture in your My Pictures folder
(you may want to rename it so you'll recognize the filename). Then use
Insert | Picture | From File to insert it in your document. This is the best
solution because then even if something goes wrong with the document and the
picture vanishes, you don't have to search the Web to find it again; you can
just reinsert it from the file stored on your computer.

Are you trying to paste directly from the web , or first
copying the image into a file on your computer? I would
try right-clicking on the web image, then downloading it
to a file via the "Save Picture As" option. Once on your
computer, it should be pastable just as any other image
file.
