Copying from columns to Rows

Can anyone tell me if there is a way of copying a series of rows of
cells in excel and pasting them as a whole to a series of columns?
I don't know if this can be done?

After the copy, select Edit, paste special and check the "transpose"
box.

Do you mean the Transpose function? Highlight your rows and copy them;
select the column you'd like, right click and Paste Special; then
select the Transpose box.
