Copying from Web Archve pages (.mht files)

S

Simon I

When online, I save web pages onto my PC as Web Archive
Pages (.mht files).

After disconnecting form the Internet, I open the pages
and copy and paste some of the contents - text and some
images - into Word documents.

Problem:
I cannot get it to work for the images (I've tried ctrl-C
and ctrl-v, and right-click Copy, right-click Paste, and
the menus, but not success)
MS Word either issues and error message about "not enough
memory" and does not do the copy, or
MS Word *hangs* with the hourglass, does not respond to
anything and I have to stop it with Task Manager.

Copying text works OK, but is slow (using Paste Special -
Unformatted Text is quicker)

Any suggestions?
TIA

Have you tried using the Edit with Word option on the Internet Explorer
Toolbar? This copy all the contents including text and images in to
Microsoft Word.

Many thanks, that worked fine.
I saved the page to my PC as a .mht file, disconnected
from the Internet, then opened the page with MS Word.

I was able to copy text and images and paste them into
another Word document quite happily.

regards
Simon
