Copying/ Hilight ing Several Pages of One Document

If I have a 50 page document and want to cut, or copy, for
example, pages 12 to 20, I start dragging the mouse from
the top of page 12 and run into problems at the bottom of
the page because the mouse automatically hilites pages 13
to 50!

How can I slow down the cursor and get control over what I
want to hilite?

I have worked around this problem for years but would like
to resolve it and alleviate my frustration. I can't find
any suggestions in the knowledge base searches I've done.

Any suggestions? Thanks for your help!

Locate the cursor at the point you want selection to begin. Press F8.
Now move to the end of the desired selection area using any available
means of navigation.
