Copying Outlook inbox and sent items

I am trying to copy my documents including attachments from Office 2003 to a
new computer with Office 2007. Using the import/export tool I am unable to
get the document dates and the attachments to copy. Does anyone know how to
transfer this information. Microsoft sure doesn't make it easy. Thanks.

Never export and import to transfer data between Outlook instances. See
