Copying tables from excel to word

Can anyone tell me how to set up excel so that when I copy/paste tables set
up in excel and pasted over into word look exactly the same, maintaining the
font size and column spacings etc?

EXCEL and WORD 2007

CTRL-C in EXCEL and CTRL-V in WORD looks perfect to me.
