Corner brackets won't go away

All of a sudden I have a square bracket in each corner of
my page when I am in Print Layout View. These brackets
apparently mark where the margins are and they are the
same brackets that exist when you select the text
boundaries option except that the text boundaries option
has lines going between the square brackets as well. I
can not find any way to get rid of them. I have even used
the office repair option to set all my custom settings
back the orginal default. Does anyone know how to remove
these brackets from my Print Layout View? And how they
got there in the first place?

Janice,

These are due to an Asian Language enabled. Start>All
Programs>Microsoft Office Tools>Microsoft Office XP
Language Settings. Disable the Asian language.
