Correct: FP will not remove files

Am I correct that FP 2002 will not remove old files and make the ISP site
contain only the files/folders that are in the web on the local computer?

It seems I recall an earlier version of FP had an option setting to get rid
of old files if they were not on the web being uploaded. The reason I ask is
that I'm uploading to AOL and the only way I can currently do it is to go to
My Place and delete each file individually.

1. Requires the FP extensions on the remote server, at least with FP2002 and older.

2. If extensions are installed, then you must select to Publish with the Change Page Only option
selected and your local and remote copy must have been in sync at the time you made the change on
your local and then published.

If at any time you re-installed FP, upgraded FP or moved the local copy to another folder on your
local machine, etc. Then in order for your live/remote and local copy to be in sync, you have to
publish a copy from the live/remote server via FP's http mode to a location on your local machine
first, then make your changes, then re-published from that same location back to the live/remote
server,.
