corrupt data sent to access db through form

We run online registrations using an .asp page and a form that collects data
into an access database. (Frontpage creates the db in the "fpdb folder" when
you configure the forms settings).

The last time we ran the registration, we started to recieve nonsense data
in the database - records with a bunch of non-sensical characters and
symbols. We ended up taking the form down.

Now we're getting ready to post another registration form and I don't want
the same thing to happen again. Any idea why this might have happened? I saw
something about spambots in another discussion thread...if thats the case,
how can I get rid of them?

The only thing I am thinking it might also be is that we use a similar form
for each workshop registration, so we usually just modify the last page we
created to make the new page. We don't remake the form - its usually the form
from the old page that sent data into the old database...we then configure FP
to make a new database for the form. Could it be that in using the old
page/form, front page is not updating all of the old code correctly?
