Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel Hi!
I have the home and student version of office 2008 for Mac.
I suddenly stoopped being able to open files sent to me through entourage. There is always a message saying that the file is corrupt, and the origin is trustful. My friends also can´t opon the files I create on my Mac. They say they get a warning that my file is corrupt.
At the same time, it happens that when I open a word doc, and click the Help menu on the apple toolbar, the document suddenly disappears and instead there is the following error report:

At the same time, it happens that when I open a word doc, and click the Help
menu on the apple toolbar, the document suddenly disappears and instead there
is the following error report:

Go to System Preferences --> Create a New User in Accounts. Switch to the
New User by logging out/in or use Fast User Switching. Test Office there.

If the problem goes away then your user folder has a problem.
If the problem still exists it¹s at the system level. It¹s either the OS or
Office.

Download and run the Apple combo then test.
