MrMako
Several of my users have experienced a problem when attempting to open
attachments to email messages in Outlook or when trying to gain access to a
public folder. Users receive an error message indicating "cannot open this
item, object cannot be found". The problem appears to be related to the forms
cache being corrupt.
I have read all the articles about fixing the issue by clearing the cache or
deleting it, but does anyone know what the root cause is and how it might be
avoided? I would rather avoid having the issues than just fixing it and
something seems to be causing it for my company frequently.
We have Office 2003 SP2 installed, however, the problem still exists.
Thanks.
