Corrupt word file

Hello i put a file on a floppy disk but when i put it onto a CD disc on D:/ it wouldnt open and now i have put it back on the computer it wont open, the error that comes up is:

the document name or path is not valid then it gives suggestions, but i dont understand this! What do i do to recover the file with graphics and everything?

Please help,

You have to copy it back to the HD, then open it from there. Note that it
will be read-only because it's been on a CD. You'll need to remove the
read-only property in Windows Explorer.

No i did copy the file from the CD back to the hard drive, the problem was i put the file on Floppy disk then put it on CD then copied it back to the HD, but now it comes up with the error:

Document cannot open and then give suggestions of check this and check that and open file open and check something, but the document wont open becuase of this error and i got rid of the read-only but it didnt work!

Please help,

Saving to a floppy has very likely corrupted it.

So how do i recover it now? I now have the file corrupted on CD disc and i sent it to the harddrive to see if i could fix it but on the harddrive it is still corrupted is it possible to recover it and if so how?

Hello i cannot understand how to do this, you have shown me the website and under the section of how to recover it tells me to open the document, which i cannot do in the first place and then once open convert to a web page, how do i do so if the document wont open? It comes up with the error when i click on it then doesnt open at all!

You learn never to save a file to a floppy again. Then you start recreating
the document (or recover it from a backup).

Ah! Try using File Open and select the Open and Repair option. If that
fails, then you could try opening it in WordPad or a basic text editor which
should allow you to at least save some of your data.

If none of the other options work, then its beyond all recall. A hex editor
may find something, but I wouldn't bother - it will be far quicker to
reproduce it from scratch.
