corrupt Word-files

Hello,

I am a new subscriber. I am having a problem with a chronically
corrupt file. How do I "un-corrupt" a Word-97 file with fields in it?

Thank you for the link, I will try it out. I don't plan to re-create
the document since the corruption issue seems relatively minor at this
point.

Hi,

I think you can try a utility called 'Advanced Word Repair
(http://www.datanumen.com/awr/) to repair your Word document.
recently have used it to repair many corrupt Word document
successfully. It is not free, so can be tried when there is no bette
choice.
