Hi,

My database was working fine, but oneday, the electrical current went off
suddenly, when i tried to open it again, i received the message "...needs to
be repaired or it's not a microsoft access database"

I know that this is a sign of corruption, is there a way to solve the issue

Get out your backup.

If you don't have a backup, you have had a very unfortunate lesson in why
they're essential.

There's a *CHANCE* that you might be able to salvage this; see Tony Toews'
hints at http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/corruptmdbs.htm. You may have to pay
a commercial service, or if you're lucky you may be able to import large parts
of the database into a new one. Good luck!
