Corrupted Global.mpt file?

Mat

Hi!

Every change I do to any configuration using Customize... or the Organizer
(toolbars, views, etc) is not preserved and when I close and re-start Project
Prof 2007 I see the old toolbars, the old views, etc.

It seems that the Global.mpt is read-only or corrupted... but I have to
suppose that is not a "real" file... because I have deleted every Global.mpt
files from my HD.... and still the same.

How can I restore the original Global.mpt file????

Thanks!

Hello Mat,

When you delete it, the Global.mpt restores by itself during the next run of
MSP.
Sometimes, after sevral installs of several version of MSP, there several
Global.mpt of the disk. Check the date before deleting it (the Global.mpt is
updated each time you clos MSP)
And may be the true Global.mpt is read only : some system managers do that
for security reasons....

Are you using Project Server? If so, your organisations may have placed
restrictions on what modifications you can make to it.
