Corrupted Navigation pane icons in Outlook

My icons in all the folders in the Navigation pane become corrupt after some
time (Outlook 2003 SP3). Is there a way to refresh the icons? (now I can only
stop and start outlook to repair the icons).

The only function I can find is /resetnavpane, but I do not dare to try it.
I looks to me that it resets every thing, not only the icons... :-(
