Corrupted PST folder

Similar to other posts, but I didn't see this mentioned. I have a corrupted
pst file that appears to be 51Mb in size per Explorer. I have run the Inbox
Repair Tool several times and nothing appears to be wrong.
However, when I use Outlook to open the file, all folders are empty. The
"Help" file under SCANPST.exe states there should be a Lost and Found folder
in the Personal Folder after execution, but it is not there. What can I do
to recover the files? If nothing, why does Explorer indicate the size of the
file at 51 Mb? Should I just delete and recover the "lost" disk space?
Thanks.

Long shot have you checked under the Deleted Items folder for the Lost and
Found folder.

Yes, I have checked every folder (drafts, infected, deleted items, outbox,
sent, journal, calendar, etc.) under the corrupted folder and nothing is
visible. That's why I don't understand the folder size of 51 Mb. Any other
ideas are appreciated!

All are long shots, but run a defrag and disk scan just in case the file is
sitting on a bad cluster, you could try copying the pst to another location
and try opening that.
