Andrew Backer
I am having a stange issue with .CSV files that I am trying to mail.
When I send them using outlook they will often show up on the
recieving end with one particular kind of error : Some of the decimal
numbers have 2 decimal points where they should have 1.
A very small quantity of the numbers are affected, most are just fine.
The CSV has many columns and quite a few dollar values (the decimals).
It is very similar to the Quickbooks extract format. Inspection of
the file on my end shows no defects, but it *does* arrive with this
one specific error.
If I mail through hotmail, y! or mozilla tbird (installed just to test
this) it will work just fine.
Any ideas on what might be causing this? It happens at our other
location with a different version of outlook (2000) as well as with
2003.
Thanks,
Andrew Backer
