Cost Center

Robert

I'm trying to find documentation on the 2007 Resource field "Cost Center."

I'm trying to understand MS's thinking when they created it, and not
allowing it to be associated with a look-up table/list. Most cost center
account num, bers that I have seen are rather long and prone to mis-keying.

Any thoughts/directions will be appreciated.

Hi Robert,

You truly are a brave man, "trying to understand Microsoft's thinking" ... I
gave up on that years ago.
By all means, AFAIK that field isn't used in any native calculation so you
can replace its function (if any) by a customized text field that DOOES have
a value list property.
Hope this helps,
