Could not access Enterprise Global

R

Robert

Hello,

Following my previous post (today at 10:33) I created a new user named
THEBOSS with the Executives permissions (Executives Group). I didn't change
any default permission.
As an Administrator I create a master project with 2 sub-projects managed by
2 others PMs.
For this master project, I changed the owner from Administrator to THEBOSS.
If I connect to Project Server 2007 with Project Pro as "THEBOSS", when I'm
trying to open the Master project, I get the message:
"Could not access Enterprise Global - Possible reason: you do not have
sufficient permissions"
What did I miss?
Thanks for your help

Robert, go to server settings > Manage Groups > under selected Category,
select a category ( you should see 2 if it is the default setting, one My
Organization and one My Personal Projects).
when you select each category, you will see the permissions for each
category. Make sure that you have no "Deny" selected under "Open Project".
This should allow executives to open a project in project professional.
hope this helps
