Could not instantiate control SharePoint:PortalConnection

Hi, When I edit a sharepoint page in frontpage I sometimes get the following
error
Could not instantiate control SharePoint:portalConnection
Web Parts Maintenance Page: If you have permission, you can use this page to
temporarily disable Web Parts or remove personal settings. For more
information, contact your site administrator.

The only thing I can do then is to delete the page and start again. Am I
doing something incorrect? it also onlt happens randomly so some changes I
make in front page are shown on the sharepoint site and others cause this
unresolvable error.

Any help would be much appreciated.
thanks
Jill
