Could not open macro storage??

A Word 2003 document uses a template that contains VBA code. Word 2002 user
gets a MS Visual Basic Runtime Error 5981 when he opens the document. The
error text message is: "Could not open macro storage." Is this a
compatibility issue between Word 2003 and Word 2002, or is this caused by
something else?

Thanks,

Keith

Keith,

This is caused by the Security settings in Word. Is it possible that the XP
user has Tools, Macro, Security set to high?

This can also happen if your template becomes corrupt. If your code is
in Normal.dot, rename it to Normal.old and then use the organizer to
pass the code back.
